An invitation is required to apply. A small mailbox for your everyday conversations. Commonside review account requests with care. Tell us a little about what you need, without sharing sensitive personal details.
What this is
A free 512MB mailbox with aliases, webmail and account controls. Mail access uses TLS and messages use server-side storage encryption. Normal email is not end-to-end encrypted; our Privacy Policy explains the limits. No advertising or paid mail tiers.
What we do
1. You apply. Invitation code, desired username, reason and a human check. No contact email is collected; your private receipt link is the only channel.
2. We review. Commonside read your application. Timing varies; if you gave a contact email, check its inbox and spam folder daily.
3. You register. If approved, a one-time registration link works once and expires after 5 days: by email when you gave one, otherwise from a button on your receipt page. Then you log in with the account you create. No second signup.
